Chris “City” Eagleton

Chris “City” Eagleton, is the founder of Break City dance program and a member of world renown break crew “Illmask”.
He has been breaking for over 15 years, (began in 1998) and has had the opportunity to perform and compete all over North America.
In 2006 his crew, Illmatic Styles, took 1st place at the Just for Laughs International Break Competition “The Battle”. In 2007, they were chosen to perform on the hit TV reality series America’s Got Talent, making it among the the top 35 acts. Later that year, they represented Canada in the World Hip Hop Championships in the world finals in Los Angeles, California.
Chris has received multiple awards in his career on both a competition and performance level. One award being Canada’s Top B-boy Crew. And another in 2009, MTL Bboying presented Chris with the Best Bboy in Montreal award.
After leaving a huge impression at the Halifax International Buskers Festival in 2007, Illmask was invited back for four consecutive years, wowing audiences of all ages with an hour long showcase of both comedy and dynamic acrobats.
His crew more recently had the honor of taking part in the opening ceremonies for the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics.
Chris continues to compete and perform and hopes to extend his experience and knowledge too all students.
